This page explains in simple terms how Percorso Cittadino currently handles personal information.
Google Analytics 4, cookies and statistics consent
We use Google Analytics 4 (ID G-HBVRKLVJ18) to understand page visits and website use. Statistics processing is based on your optional consent: refusing does not restrict access to content. You can contact the operator of Percorso Cittadino at contatti@percorsocittadino.it, including for requests about personal data.
We use Basic Consent Mode: before acceptance and when you refuse, we do not load the Google Analytics tag, set its cookies or send measurements or consent signals to Analytics. Continuing to browse does not count as consent. Advertising and advertising personalisation remain disabled.
After acceptance, the browser contacts Google to download the tag and send page views and the technical/session information used by Analytics. This includes pseudonymous identifiers, browser/device information and technical connection data: we do not describe these as anonymous. The site sends only known static paths, without query parameters or fragments, with predefined titles and no referrer. Unrecognised addresses are represented as /404.
We do not connect search text, Civic Assistant questions or answers, calculator inputs, names, email addresses, tax codes, credentials, documents or application identifiers to Analytics. Enhanced measurement for the stream is disabled; we do not automatically record clicks, forms, searches or downloads. Local Assistant events are not connected to GA4.
Google provides the service through the companies identified in its terms, including Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area. Processing may involve systems and recipients outside the EEA under the conditions and safeguards described by Google. Retention of report data depends on property settings and Google's rules; the cookie lifetime below is not a promise that all reports are deleted at the same time.
You can reopen Cookie preferences in the footer to accept, refuse or withdraw consent. Withdrawal immediately disables GA4, deletes accessible Analytics cookies on this site and reloads the page to remove code already executed. It does not retrospectively cancel processing performed with consent or recall requests already sent. The choice is shared between Italian and English on the same domain and applies to other tabs when they receive the change.

Provider documentation and your rights
For information, access, correction, erasure or other data requests, email contatti@percorsocittadino.it. You may withdraw consent at any time and complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority. Google's information and channels also apply to data it receives directly.
Information received by email
When you write to contatti@percorsocittadino.it, we may receive your email address, any name you provide, the contents of your message, any attachments and the technical information required to deliver the email.
Why this information is used
Information received is used exclusively to reply to communications, manage reports, correct possible errors and evaluate suggestions concerning the project.
Do not send sensitive information
Do not send personal documents, passwords, SPID credentials, Italian tax codes, health information, bank details or other sensitive information. Percorso Cittadino does not manage personal applications and does not request this information.
Email retention
Communications are retained only for the time necessary to reply to and manage the request. Messages that are no longer required may be deleted, except where retention is necessary for legal or security reasons.
Email service provider
The project email inbox is managed through an external email service provider. The provider may process the technical information necessary to transmit, protect and retain messages.
No accounts or document uploads
The website currently does not allow users to create accounts, sign in, subscribe to newsletters or upload documents.
Civic Assistant: questions processed in your browser
In this version, the Italian Civic Assistant form matches your question against Percorso Cittadino guides in your browser. The assistant does not send the text to a server or an AI service and does not save questions or answers. Text remains temporarily in the page’s memory; you can clear it or close the page. Do not enter personal information or credentials.
Your browser downloads a static guide index when you use the assistant. This request does not contain your question. Prepared assistant events contain only predefined categories and states, with no free text; no event collection service is connected in this version. External links remain subject to the destination website’s privacy notice.

Percorso Cittadino contains links to institutional websites and other external services. When you visit these websites, their privacy notices and terms of use apply.

To request information, correct personal information or ask for the deletion of a communication, write to contatti@percorsocittadino.it.
Future updates
This notice will be updated before forms, user accounts, newsletters, additional analytics tools or other services involving new processing of personal information are introduced.
